Minecraft Staff Hiring Procedure

We use different methods when hiring someone depending on the circumstances of the application and applicant.


No Experience Hire

This kind of hire happens when the applicant hasn't had any previous as a moderator anywhere.

If successful at interview  and offered a position with us, this hire would go on to become a guide for a month and as long as they have proven to be helpful and met attendance requirements will be promoted to helper and then the same again for promotion to mod.


Experienced Hire

This kind of hire happens when the applicant has had sufficient and proven  experience as a moderator.

If successful at interview  and offered a position with us, this hire would go on to become a guide for 2 weeks and as long as they have proven to be helpful and met attendance requirements will be promoted to helper


Re-Hire - Less than 1 month

This kind of hire happens when a member of staff who left the team re-applies within one month of leaving the team (Not eligible if dismissed for any reason, See "Rank Reduction re-hire" or"Disciplinary Re-hire")

If successful at interview and offered a position with us, this hire would go on to become helper for 2 weeks, and as long as they have proven to be helpful and met the appropriate relative attendance requirements they will be promoted to Mod.


Re-Hire - More than 1 month

This kind of hire happens when a member of staff who left the team re-applies after one month of leaving the team  (Not eligible if dismissed for any reason, See "Rank Reduction re-hire" or"Disciplinary Re-hire")

If successful at interview and offered a position with us, this hire would be treated the same as any experienced hire would be.


Rank Reduction Re-Hire

This kind of hire happens when a member of staff is removed from the staff team due to rank reduction

If successful at interview and offered a position with us, this hire would be treated the same as any No Experience hire would be.


Disciplinary Re-Hire

This kind of hire happens when a member of staff is dismissed for any disciplinary reasons, not attendance or self dismissal. Each level of discipline carries different requirements to be met before a re-hire can take places.

Level 1 -  Informal Verbal Discussion (IVD)

A member of staff who left with a level 1 disciplinary still active on their file, would have to wait until it expired before they would be eligible for re-hire. at which point the hiring process reverts to the above.

Level 2 - Formal Verbal Warning  (FVW)

A member of staff who left with a level 2 disciplinary still active on their file, would have to wait until it expired plus 1 extra month before they would be eligible for re-hire at which point the hiring process reverts to experienced hire.

Level 3 - Formal Written Warning (FWW)

A member of staff who left with a level 3 disciplinary still active on their file, would have to wait until it expired plus 3 extra months before they would be eligible for re-hire at which point the hiring process reverts to experienced hire.

Level 4 - Final Warning    (FW)

A member of staff who left with a level 4 disciplinary still active on their file, would have to wait until it expired plus 6 extra months before they would be eligible for re-hire at which point the hiring process reverts to experienced hire.

B - Banishment

It may seem obvious, but to prevent any possible confusion, a member of staff who reached banishment stage will never be eligible for rehire as they are banned from both the discord and minecraft server permanently.
